Hillstar Daffodil
14-16" tall x 6" wide. Hillstar Daffodil is a great addition to set the stage for early summer blossoms. Holds the Royal Horticultural Society's Award of Garden Merit. An excellent choice for warmer gardens where they can tolerate hot summers, they are also happy in cooler climates. Well known for their fragrance, be sure to plant some in groups of at least 6 so you can enjoy the delightful scent, as well as visiting pollinators. With 2-3 flowers per stem, they stand at 14-16" tall and are perfect cut flowers as well as great additions to a flower bed or lawn planting. Plant in well-drained soil in a full sun to partial shade location. They will naturalize and create lovely drifts of color. Allow the spent foliage to die back completely before removing, about 8-10 weeks past blooming. This allows the bulbs to recharge. Deer, squirrel, and rabbit resistant.
